Terms & Conditions

  1. Bookings
  • Phoebe's Pet Services will agree a time or time slot when the dog walk will occur, or pet sitting begins. If an unforeseen situation arises, the time interval may be adjusted but the customer will be updated when possible.
  • Bank Holidays will be charged at a 1.5x rate while Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day and Easter Sunday will be charged at a 2x rate. You will be made aware of this at the time of booking.
  • An in-­home consultation is required, prior to reservations, for all new clients.
  1. Cancellations
  • We ask that if you need to cancel, at least 48 hours notice is required for any service. 
  • We understand that the required 48 hours notice may not always be possible, so it is down to our discretion as to whether you will be charged in full for the booked service.
  • If cancellations regularly occur any later than 48 hours, we reserve the right to charge for the cancelled session in full, this is at our discretion.
  • Phoebe’s Pet Services retains the right to cancel any pre-booked services, within 48 hours of the booked service.
  • If any unforeseen circumstances occur, such as extreme weather, vehicle breakdown or a personal emergency, we retain the right to cancel bookings without the 48 hour notice period.
  1. Behavioral Issues
  • Phoebe's Pet Services are happy to cater for dogs that need particular care, such as no dog contact, or separation anxiety. However, we do ask that you let us know of any issues that your dog may have, so that we can arrange suitable care for your pet.
  • Phoebe's Pet Services reserves the right to refuse to provide services if there is any cause for concern involving either parties.
  • If any bites towards humans/dogs occured - we require a full run down of these incidents. We reserve the right to cancel any and all bookings if this information is not provided.
  1. Keys
  • Phoebe's Pet Services will require a copy of your house key at the initial consultation.
  • It is recommended that this key remains with Phoebe's Pet Services for convenience in future use of our services, and that future use of services can then be confirmed by telephone, email or messaging.
  • Your key will be kept in a secured locked storage box.
  1. Updates
  • Please inform us of any changes to your contact details, emergency contact details, vet surgery, and your pet’s care needs.
  1. Privacy Policy
  • All of your information will be kept private and confidential and not passed onto third parties.
  1. Photos & videos 
  • By using our services, you give permissions for us to take photos & videos of your pet and share these via our social media or for use on our website.
  • To opt out of this, contact us directly.
  1. Insurance
  • Phoebe's Pet Services has full comprehensive insurance cover, including Professional Indemnity cover, Public Liability cover and Care, custody and control.
  • We ask that you make us fully aware of any pertinent information concerning your pet before we begin our care services.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to have insurance for their pet/home and Phoebe’s Pet Services will not be liable for any damages to either pet/home. 
  1. Medication/Vaccination/Immunisations & Vet Visitation
  • If your pet has a contagious illness, Phoebe's Pet Services must be informed and this may mean the service must be canceled.
  • You give permission to Phoebe’s Pet Services to act as guardian for their pet/s.
  • If for any reason we need to take the client’s pet to a Vet at short notice, we will take them to their registered Vet as stated on the onboarding form.
  • The client gives Phoebe’s Pet Services permission to transport their pet/s to the above-named Vet by whichever means necessary.
  1. Collars/Leads
  • Dogs will be walked on lead unless we feel that it is safe to let your dog off, and that they have good recall.
  • No dog will be taken off the lead without a conversation with the owner beforehand.
  • All dogs must wear an ID tag as it is required by law. Failure to adhere to this will result in the booking being cancelled and the client being charged.
  1. House cleanliness
  • Phoebe's Pet Services will clean up after your pet to the best of our ability. Please inform us of the area in which cleaning supplies can be located.
  • We are not responsible for any flooring stains created by your pet.

Changes to return date

  • We carefully plan our services around our clients, so we cannot offer refunds for early return dates. If you are unexpectedly delayed, we will do our best to arrange further cover, which will be charged.

Payment

  • Phoebe's Pet Services accepts cash or bank transfers (please enquire for bank details).
  • Payment is due no longer than 2 weeks after the service unless discussed otherwise.

Vouchers

  • Vouchers can only be used once and are not valid with any other promotions or discounts.
  • Only one voucher can be used per service.
  • Vouchers must be used within one year of the date of issue.
  • Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and has no cash value.
  • Vouchers are non-transferable and may not be sold or auctioned.
  • Vouchers can be used on any service.
  • Phoebe's Pet Services reserves the right to change or modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice.

Acceptance of our services is deemed acceptance of our Terms and Conditions and an agreement to pay our fees on time.
